Priceline Hotel: 4* Toronto (Downtown South) Renaissance Toronto Downtown Hotel

Hi there,

New to Priceline!! Cant wait to start bidding, but One questions fist. I have used Hotwire 4 times always been happy and always recieved a king size bed. With Priceline wins do you normally get a king size bed if it is only 2 people? Whats your experience?

I am going to go for Downtown South Toronto 4* hoping for the Rennisance or the Hilton. I have seen them both won before. Does anyone know what is being won right now for November?

Its too bad that more people don t post on here it would be helpful for people doing their research and seeing whats out there. People have to be winning hotels all the time!!

Neither service offers a guarantee as to bedding type. It's really "run of the house" situation - PRICELINE and HOTWIRE are not eligible for upgrades, so a basic/non-upgraded room is what to expect, but the specifics are really up to the hotel at check-in. One can make a request before coming, but the hotel can say no.

One also has to be flexible with hotel, as well - if you bid 4* for a particular zone, you have to be willing to accept any 4* in that zone. There's no way to know what may appear, as there's always the possibility that something that rarely is seen could suddenly appear - a hotel or hotels commonly appearing as a win is no guarantee that you will get one of those hotels.

If you need assistance with your stay, please provide date/s of travel and desired budget per night.

I have watched the hotels for 11/12-11/13 for a while now, on Hotwire and the sites themselves I was looking at 125 for 4*DT East on Hotwire.Did my research on how to use PL and what was out there.

Went with first bid $85.00Downtown Toronto South 4* REJCECTED (knew that just wanted to try) LOL

second bid $90.00Downtown Toronto South with Brampton 4* REJECTED

third bid $95.00Downtown Toronto South with Brampton and Burlington 4* REJECTED

fourth bid $100.00 Downtown Toronto South with Branmpton and Burlington and Oakville 4* REJECTED
