It was the downtown Hilton Atlanta. I am pleased with my win, however I was unable to compare rates because on Hilton's website it says there are no rooms available for my dates selected. Is this normal for me to be able to book a room on Hotwire but not on the actual hotel's website? Do they overbook through Hotwire? Just want to be sure I am going to actually get a room.

Very nice deal for this Hilton property for New Year's Day. Occasionally properties do appear on PRICELINE or HOTWIRE while showing no availability on the hotel website. There should be no issue with getting a room. If there is an issue at check-in (unlikely) call HOTWIRE and they should handle it immediately.
