We need to book 5 nights in downtown Minneapolis in April.

Hotwire offers a 4 star hotel for the 5 nights at $90 per night.

It says that it is 95% recommended by Hotwire customer reviews.

The amenities list is:

4-star Hotel in Downtown Minneapolis

This Hotel features the following amenities:

Indoor pool(s)

Smoke Free Rooms

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-Speed Internet Access

Does anyone know what hotel this might be?

Thanks.

I followed up on the Seattle Hotwire thread. Sorry that I didn't do that at the time.

This Minneapolis stay would be April 11 - April 16, 2013.

Please check out the listing for me.

Thank you so much for your reply.

I thought that since Hotwire was willing to give me a downtown 4-star hotel for $90 per night, I might do a little better on Priceline.

I tried my search on Priceline and was rewarded with the Westin Minneapolis (as you had suggested) for $79 per night.

I am very happy with this win.

I will now post this win on the Minnesota-Priceline forum.

Thanks again for all of your help.

After checking Hotwire for our dates in downtown Minneapolis, we found that a 4-star hotel was available for $90 per night.

We thought that maybe we could get the same hotel for the same dates for less money on Priceline.

We started at $65 and increased slowly (there are lots of rebid zones that do not have 4-star hotels) until our bid was accepted at $79.

We are very happy to have booked the Westin for $79 per night. We were worried that we were asking for too many nights and that it was still too far in advance to book.

Thanks for your wonderful website and for the service you provide.
