OK, I am a first timer. I am both excited and depressed. I had read an article in a travel magazine last christmas about this technique. It was very confusing, but today, I had an opportunity to learn again and apply my new found knowledge.

I re-read posts on this site and determined that if I could possibly get a room at this location for $71, like a recent post indicated and serveral posts intimated, I would be the most popular guy in the family. I needed two rooms and my family has stayed at this location many many times for around $170 a night. I, a Marriot rewards member have taken special deals with my girlfriend for $150 a night. Folks, this hotel is everything you could want in a weekend getaway. Even a week here and you would leave wanting more. I have traveled a lot. (disclaimer, It is San Antonio, not Boston, and it is hot this time of year)

Well, after reading the posts, and wantingto get my feet wet in case I needed to wait some time before bidding again, I through out $60. thinking, no-way!

Yes way! I feel cheated. I am bummed. I still feel like I don't know the proper technique. The zone thing and all. I will try this again and wish everyone the best. (Please post your results, because this is the only way this works) Here is the format for you........ format for results post
