Thanks for the info on the site, I used the Bidding Helper tool to link to PRICELINE

I was trying really hard to get the Holiday Inn (3*) for a bargain, but was unwilling to pay much more than the Best Western since in the end it's only a bed. Here are my bidding failures (admittedly, I started greedily):

3* MA - Westborough - Marlborough (Marlborough - Hudson) $42 (not accepted)

3* MA - Westborough - Marlborough (Marlborough - Hudson) $48 (not accepted)

3* MA - Westborough - Marlborough (Marlborough - Hudson) $56 (not accepted)

3* MA - Westborough - Marlborough (Marlborough - Hudson) $65 (not accepted)

...gave up on the only 3* hotel in the area to settle for 2.5* (likely best western)

2.5* MA - Westborough - Marlborough (Marlborough - Hudson) $38 (not accepted)

2.5* MA - Westborough - Marlborough (Marlborough - Hudson) $43 (not accepted)

was offered to rebid right away for $51 without changing anything else, chose to add 2* hotels

2* MA - Westborough - Marlborough (Marlborough - Hudson) $45 (accepted) - "upgraded" to 2.5* Best Western
