thereuare Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding!Thank you for sharing your winning bid with the board. This hotel has previously been reported at the Resort class so this indicates a downgrade for this property (and i see that Resort bidding is no longer ofered in this area). Thanks, enjoy your stay. dianev Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 FWIW, I know this is a little old but this hotel is much nicer then many of the 3* we have gotten on Priceline..just had a total rehab too which is why I am surprised you say it was downgraded..
PedroDaGr8 Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 I am a Lexingtonian and the place is just beautiful with a full golf course on the grounds and near many of the horse farms. The only thing that I can think of is that it got downgraded because they have been doing renovations like crazy. Last year the Catering/Dining areas were renovated so they were unavailable and now according to the website:"Renovation of the spa from December 17, 2007 to April 1, 2007. The construction may result in minimal noise from 9am to 5pm. "So I am guessing the spa is down. It is known to be one of the nicest hotels in lexington. If anyone ever wants my opinion on hotels in Lexington I will try to contribute.
