hhendler602 Posted October 23, 2012 Report Posted October 23, 2012 Please help as I followed the protocol as well as I knew and this is what happened.I was bidding on 11/2 to 11/4 Las Vegas and I wanted Las Vegas Strip North 4 Star. After failing a bid at 80 I added Summerlin which according to the site does not have a 4 star. I entered all of my info and finished bidding, and they gave me a Marriott in Summerlin! I called customer service and spoke to a supervisor but they would not refund my money. I told them that there was no 4 star in Summerlin on the site, but they kept referring back to the contract. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Is there anyway I could get my money back? Thank you for your help.
thereuare Posted October 23, 2012 Report Posted October 23, 2012 Sorry to hear you received a hotel in a zone you didn't intend.Summerlin does not contain 4* hotels but it does contain Resort class properties, and your 4* bid was upgraded to a Resort class hotel in this zone. The star rating you selected on PRICELINE is the minimum, not absolute star rating you're willing to accept.It would be appreciated if begin to share all your wins with the board and use the requested PRICELINE and HOTWIRE to begin your future bidding, searches and travel purchases.
