thereuare Posted October 22, 2012 Report Posted October 22, 2012 Trying for one(1) room, two beds for one(1) night Friday 26 OctNote that with PRICELINE you can't bid for a given number of beds... all that is guaranteed is double occupancy (which could be one bed for two people)... is this acceptable? What star rating are you bidding on? Using MAPS and HOTELS.com what is the best rate you're able to find in this area at an acceptable hotel? What is your maximum bid before you lower your star rating or book thru a non-opaque source? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. objets Posted October 23, 2012 Author Report Posted October 23, 2012 I was bidding for the 3-3.5* rating, two beds is a requirement at this point. Best rate is near $125 for the area I'm looking at, Max bid would be $85David
thereuare Posted October 23, 2012 Report Posted October 23, 2012 ...two beds is a requirement at this point. This can't be guaranteed thru PRICELINE, but there may be some workarounds... would one bed + a pullout sofabed OR rollaway work for your needs? (or is two 'true' beds required?)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
