Hotwire Hotel: Help with Hotel indentification and check out early question

Hi all,

I have used BB a number of times (posted a few wins also) and continue to love the site.

Couple of questions. First, help identifying a hotel :

4* Downtown Minneapolis 95% Hotwite customer reviews.

Short list of facilities

Boutique Hotel

Smoke Free Rooms

Fitness Center

Restaurant(s)

Long list of facilities

I have assumed is The W Foshay (the Boutique gives it away) but just wanted to check.

Now for the second, and I think interesting question. If I book for 6 nights (which I need) it comes up as $656 but if I book for 7 night (one more than I need) then I get it for $606....Really strange. So, are there any Hotwire conditions that anyone knows about in regards to penalties for checking out early? I have read a few very old posts in the web that says that there can be penalties for checking out early, people have said to just leave and then call them to check out but I would prefer to know what the actual conditions are.

Does anyone know what the actual conditions are of the booking in terms of checking out early?

For hotels you should have no problem checking out early. You could have a problem if you book for an earlier arrival date then your actual check-in date, but arriving on the correct date of your reservation and leaving earlier shouldn't be an issue. From HOTWIRE (current at time of posting):

Can I check in later or leave earlier than the dates I booked?

If you arrive at the hotel after your scheduled check-in date, you will not receive any partial refund for the nights you did not stay at the hotel. Likewise, if you leave early, Hotwire will not provide any reimbursement for the unused portion of your reservation. All Hotwire hot Rate bookings are final and cannot be cancelled, refunded, changed, exchanged, or transferred. The cancellation policies for our standard rates vary by hotel and room type.

The bold and italics line highlighted by me indicates that it is acceptable to leave earlier than your stated check-out date, but that you'll no partial refund for the unused day(s).
