Didn’t risk being bumped up to 3* since I wanted the Fairfield in Cherry Creek so I didn’t rebid

I decided to try one more time and bid $50 for Denver - Cherry Creek hoping for the Fairfield Inn. I received the following response:

We searched hundreds of options to find your hotel room, however we can't accept your offer of $50 per room, per night. If you are willing to raise your price by $21 to $71 per room, per night, you can try the same request again right now.

I reserved the Fairfield Inn in Cherry Creek for $99 a night, so it's definitely not worth a few dollars to risk getting a different hotel this time.
