Willy_Dizzle Posted October 18, 2012 Report Posted October 18, 2012 I am trying to book a room in the Marriott New Orleans for the weekend of 11/9 - 11/11. I have been bidding, slowly raising my bid, for almost a week. I have bid as high as $85 and the offer has still not been accepted. Would I have better luck bidding closer to the date or do you have any other suggestions?
AaronJB Posted October 18, 2012 Report Posted October 18, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. There is no way to bid for a specific property when using PRICELINE - if you bid for a 4* in the French Quarter area, there are a number of different possibilities you could wind up with. What would be your desired max bid per night for this stay?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Willy_Dizzle Posted October 18, 2012 Author Report Posted October 18, 2012 The hotel doesn't have to be specific to the Marriott, although it would be preferred. However, I am attempting to acquire a hotel on or near Canal St. I would prefer to spend upwards of $120-130. What would you suggest me to do? Thanks for any help.
thereuare Posted October 19, 2012 Report Posted October 19, 2012 At current rates a 4* hotel in or near this area is going to cost more than $120-$130.Using maps.hotel what is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel in this area at the 4* level? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and your searches too! (please click each of these links before replying)Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
