Hi all,

By using the Bouns money, I was able to score 3 nights at outrigger reef on the beach at 172+(7 bouns money)=179/night from 11/29-12/2. Is this price reasonable or too expensive? I was hopping to get Sheraton Wakiki instead...

Congrats on your success and Welcome to Betterbidding.

Certainly not a bad deal, as this property is showing for $239 on Expedia for these dates.

Please note that you can still use your Bonus Cash along with the board's PRICELINE links as follows...

1) click the PRICELINE link on the board

2) go to the MY PROFILE >> MY REWARDS link at the top right of their home page

3) use the bonus money link in the MY REWARDS section of your profile (not a link from an email) and bid as usual

Enjoy your stay.

Just one bid? Or did you start lower and add zones?

I've been trying for Oahu in early December (Resort and 4*) - but my highest bids are about $40 lower than this (including any bonus cash)... I'm not likely going to get too aggressive with my bidding until the last 3-4 weeks.

I started at $170 and I knew anything below $170 would not be success because I tried it the last couple weeks. However, I should have waited at least another couple weeks before I get aggressive, I still think I can get it cheaper than $172. Well, lesson learned. Wish you luck and please do let me know how much you get yours, so I have a better idea next time.

Thanks!

Not necessarily... what if the hotel starts to get busier than anticipated and the 'PRICELINE rate' currently available is not available a few weeks from now. ;)

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Thanks, enjoy your stay.

Thanks for the update!

Yes - there is no guarantee when it comes to bidding on anything! I'm likely too cheap - but I'm willing to wait a bit before getting worried.

I appreciate your post - it lets me (and others!) know where the successful bids are!
