Another good win.

* As always, used BiddingHelper.com.com to bid.

* Began bidding Mayfair - Soho + Westminster at $130.

* Rebid in increments of $10.

* Bid accepted at $180 with no counteroffers. This was my final bid before moving on to other zones.

$$ Comparisons:

* Backup bid at 3* Jury's Hotel at Imperial Wharf for $150.

* Was hard to find any 4 or 5* in central London under $200.

* Hotwire rate was $189.

* Lowest non-refundable available through the hotel website was $361.

* Lowest flexible rate was $480. Yes, $480.

I can't really grasp the rationale behind charging $180 via Priceline but $480 through retail channels, but oh well, that's why we do PRICELINE.
