The $118 room seems like a better deal based on what you said in my 11/1 hotwire Chicago post. I appreciate all of the help!

I'm not currently seeing either of these properties offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing either/both of the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?

I am however seeing a 4.5* in the Mag Mile - River North zone rated 4.5/5.0 on TA and a 95% recommendation by previous HOTWIRE guests for $114/nite with:

Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business

Best guess for this one would be the Conrad Chicago... with the InterContinental and the James being distant second guesses.

They were both marked as Today Only, so maybe they aren't there now. Haven't checked. But, I will keep you posted on a win.

The Intercontinental would be great.

I'm seeing a 4.5* in the Mag Mile-RN area for these dates w/smoke-free, fitness, restaurant, business, internet for $112 (the price you see may vary slightly.)

That may be the Intercontinental or Conrad, although I'm seeing a 4.5/5 tripadvisor rating on the detail page, which would make me lean towards the Conrad.
