hannah9702
Bid on 2 room at 30$ each for 2.5 star. Bid was accepted by Holiday Inn Rolling Meadows, a suburb near Schaumburg which is where we wanted to be. Hotel is in desperate need of a renovation, but was clean and comfortable. We were able to get adjoining rooms with the bed arrangement we requested, but they were smoking rooms. The rooms did not smell horrible, but could detect that hint of musty, smokey smell. The indoor pool area was clean and nice from a kids perspective, outdoor pool was dirty and everyone there was smoking. Play area is alright, but in need of a good cleaning. Restaurant was pricey for breakfast, especially for what you get. This hotel overall is worth $30 per night, but is definitely not a 2.5 star nor is it worth the online rates of $80-100. Note that there are many kids at hotel, can be noisey. Staff was friendly, but not knowlegable about their area. Hotel is near the Woodfield Mall and 2 Metra stations.hannah9702 Link to comment
