Hello

What are my chances to get 4* in Manhattan (all areas except downtown and upper UWS and UES) for those date in less then 150$?

I have been trying to bid for last day with max of $142 and didn't get it...

I think $150 may be difficult given rates, but if you have already bid $142, I'd try $145 then $147 and then $150. If $150 isn't accepted, you have a lot of time to continue trying and hopefully inventory may come online at the $150 neighborhood over the next 2-3 mo.

This 2.5* HOTWIRE property has not yet been reported to the board. It does (on my search at least) show a 'Risk Free Booking' which allows you to purchase and cancel within 24 hours of your purchase (as long as it's at least 3 days before your check-in) if you don't like the hotel... so you could 'look behind the curtain' if you wanted. The reviews provided don't seem awful given the price, but i would expect it to fall quite short of the 4* hotel you're originally seeking above.
