ZJY82 Posted October 12, 2012 Report Posted October 12, 2012 I'm interested in bidding on a 5* in the Strip North area. I'm familiar with the strategies and realize the potential hotels are the Wynn, Palazzo, Venetian (and Encore?). I'm less concerned about exceeding my budget than I am about what type of room my bid will secure. I'd like a room w/ two queens; is this something I would have to inquire about when I checked in or is that type of room out of the question based on my bid? I also realize that certain of these hotels may have hide-a-beds in the couch.I very much appreciate your help. Also, any recent winning bids in this area at the end of December would be helpful.thanks!
AaronJB Posted October 12, 2012 Report Posted October 12, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding.PRICELINE only guarantees one bed/double occupancy. Two beds have to be requested with the hotel and there have been a number of instances of users reporting Vegas hotels charging more for the upgrade to two beds. Are there more than 2 people in the party? If so, HOTWIRE would be a better choice, as it allows one to indicate the amount of people in the room and ensure some form of bedding for the amount of people indicated.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
