bonnie10
hello...I'm trying to identify which hotel this may be. It's listed as downtown and my guess is that it's one of the hotels on Tunnel Rd (Holiday Inn, Hampton, Country Inn, etc), but was hoping someone might be able to help. Here are the amenities listed. thanks~!Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Free Breakfast Free Internet Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower Link to comment

bonnie10
Tomorrow, October 12 the initial post above is for a 3* that i've been looking at.I'm also now looking at a 2 1/2 * in Central Asheville listed at $162.00 on Hotwire. it amenities seem similar to the 3*. any help on Identifying the 2 1/2* & 3* would be greatly appreciated. Our date is tomorrow night, Friday, October 12th.It has.... indoor pool, fitness center, business center,high-speed internet access, accessible for the blind, free parking, free breakfast, accessible path of travel, in-room accessibility, accessible bathroom, handicap parking, roll-in shower Link to comment
thereuare
My best guess for the 3* would be the Holiday Inn Asheville Biltmore East.I'm not currently seeing the 2.5* offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing this on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0child?Give how high rates are for these dates (the 3* is $205 on my own search) i'd suggest trying MAPS and HOTELS.com as you'll get a sense of how much more/less it would cost to stay just outside of this area vs. something directly in the given zone. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide or if we can be of further help. bonnie10
Sorry, I obviously never reported how my Asheville stay turned out. I actually ended up just booking at the Aloft because it was important for us to stay downtown on that trip and it looked like the hotels we were looking at would likely be outside of the city area and require driving. So we just paid more and booked downtown. Thanks for taking the time to identify the hotels...that kept us from making a bid we would have ended up regretting if we had landed outside of the center area. Link to comment
thereuare
Thank you for closing this thread with your decision. In the future please use our sister site for your regular rate bookings or when you need a hotel in a specific location... you can see hotels near almost any address in the world and the interface makes it easy to see how much more/less it would cost to go up/down in star rating OR to stay closer/further from your ideal location.
