Priceline Hotel: 4* San Francisco (Union Square East) The Westin St. Francis

Just got this room, of course using the Betterbidding link to PRICELINE. I have been stressing about the room rates for these dates, and had reserved the Hilton, Financial District as a contingency. I am thrilled to get the Westin at this rate, this week. Looking forward to my quick, weekend trip.

Follow up after our stay -

We were assigned a room in the Landmark Building (all previous stays here were in Tower Building), and it was a disappointment. The room had a terrible musty odor. The bathroom was incredibly small, and the 'Heavenly Mattress' was much less then heavenly.

This was my first stay at here using Priceline Name Your Own Price. Maybe my expectations shouldn't have been based on previous stays using conventional reservations through the hotel website.

I recall really wanting to book this hotel initially because I've heard very good things about other Westin hotels in other cities I've stayed in. definitely sounds unfortunate. I do thank you for the post stay comments though.
