Priceline Hotel: 2.5* hotel in cambridge or logan airport

Help!

Visiting aug 16-20;

i 've been trying to bid for a 2.5* hotel in cambridge or logan airport area, hoping to get renaissance or courtyard or one of the 2.5* hotels that offer free internet service during stay.

I've been bidding from $60 up to $75 with no luck. I've added other areas that only have 3 or 4 * hotels in rebidding but no acceptance.

in checking the hotel list and past bidding, the going rate seems to be $43-70, although i know availability depends on demand and supply. anyone know how much i should be willing to bid for a 2.5* in cambridge and logan airport area?

I'm not sure you understand re-bidding... you can only use zones that offer star ratings lower than the one you are bidding. The star rating your select is for the minimum that you are willing to accept, and you can always be upgraded to a higher star level than the one you selected.... therefore it is dangerous to add areas that contain higher star ratings than the one you are bidding unless you are willing to stay in those zones as well.

If i'm understanding you correctly, you've bid as high as $75 in the Airport zone at the 2.5* level?

Please answer my questions first so that i know what you have already tried... have you already bid at the 2.5* level up to $75 in the Cambridge and Airport zones? If so, when did you last bid?

Also, your post indicates that you're not appropriately using re-bid strategies... are you sure you have a grasp of how re-bidding works?
