pugangel
We were hoping to be in one of those 3 areas. My top price would be $175 if possible, otherwise I can get close to that price on Expedia. It seems strange as others have gotten close to those dates in those areas it appears in the $130-$145 range? Link to comment
thereuare
It seems strange as others have gotten close to those dates in those areas it appears in the $130-$145 range?Rates can vary significantly from one day to the next, and a quick look at MAPS and HOTELS.com reveals that rates for your dates are somewhat higher than usual. If you're willing to bid up to $175/nite i would try as follows:When bidding 4* in the Los Angeles region you have FOUR re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* Beverly Hills and Hollywood...Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $155, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $160, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $163, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 4* Santa Monica...Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $155, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $160, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $163, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINESelect 4* Beverly Hills and Hollywood and Santa Monica...Bid $165, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $168, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $170, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $173, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $175I will also add that HOTWIRE currently has a 4* hotel in the Hollywood zone for $168/nite with:Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in ShowerMy guess is that this my be the Roosevelt Hollywood, but if not, there is also a chance that it is a 3.5* rated hotel via PRICELINE (so may not be an apples-to-apples comparison). However, if you find this offer may be acceptable, you may want to consider stopping your bidding about at $168/nite.Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
