Had to go the Wilmington for business so gave Hotwire a shot

Won the Holiday Inn that is beach front in Wrightsville Beach. (1706 North Lumina Avenue, Wrightsville Beach, NC, 28480)

The Hotel itself is ok but showing age and they have specific rooms for Hotwire guest and not willing to move you no matter the complaint or reason (i.e filthy room). Regardless of how many other rooms where available.

Probably first time we were tried like a low class for say using Hotwire and may be the last. Hope this helps someone but can't recommend the hotel via Hotwire.

Sorry to hear this was a disappointing stay.

In the future if you have a room that is dirty and the hotel refuses to do anything about it, while on the property call HOTWIRE and ask them to assist in resolving, they are usually very good at helping to resolve any issues once you are on premises.
