ArtBKK Posted August 12, 2005 Report Posted August 12, 2005 I will visit Boston for 3 nights from 9/25 to 9/28. I'm going to watch a concert at Fleetcenter and also have to visit Harvard and M.I.T. I also have some spare time to do some touristy thing. So I guess Downtown, Copley, and Cambridge are all convenient for me, wrong? Here is my dilemma:As I come from country that need visa, I have to wait for my visa decision on 9/15. If I wait until 9/15 to bid, will I still get something decent at good value? The maximum I'm willing to bid is $80. If not, I'm willing to bid now and risk wasting my money if I don't get visa. I'm more than 95% confident that I will get visa anyway. And would you please advise on bidding strategy. I'd say price is more important to me. Thank you in advance for your suggestion.
thereuare Posted August 12, 2005 Report Posted August 12, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding! The first recommended 'rule' of bidding is "Bid once your plans are firm"... so given that your plans are still firm i would recommend waiting; of course the decision is ultimatley up to you.I would book a cancellable back-up now (try EasyClickTravel and directly with the hotel websites listed on our SUPPORT PAGE) just to make sure you have something... then once your visa comes thru try to beat your back-up reservation.
