Priceline Hotel: 3* New York City (Central Park South) Holiday Inn Midtown New York

Yesterday tried almost all areas Chelsea, financial, MTE, MTW, SOHO, ESB, MSG, TS, CPS, Upper East & West 3* and up ranging from $120-$160.

Our budget was $160. Any of the listed above areas would have been fine, but we struck out.

Today I got the email for the 24 hour Priceline sale going on where they add on $7 bonus cash to your bid for each night. MADE MY NIGHT!

Bid $154 with an added (free)$7 to the bid, bidding $161. Ended up getting Holiday Inn Midtown in Central Park south. Very happy considering the time of the year + free breakfast!!!

WAY better than being stuck in a hostel, which if you were considering, they are around that same $130-$160 a night for 2 people if you want a room with 4 or less beds.
