skelman
As the second leg of our cross-country trip is nearing completion, we wanted to treat ourselves to something nice in the Detroit area. Dearborn was particularly interesting because of all the automotive museums in it. I bid $45 for a 4* and got counter offered to raise the price by $13 to get it, which I accepted. I ended up with the Hyatt, which was a pleasant surprise:Hyatt Regency DearbornFairlane Town CenterDearborn, Michigan 48126-2793Price: $58.00 x 2 + $24.03 = $140.03The best prepaid rate Hyatt.com offers is $145 per night, so we got quite a deal. This hotel gets almost uniformly great reviews on TripAdvisor, and rightfully so. Next to the Venetian in Las Vegas, this is arguably the nicest one we've stayed at on this whole trip.
