Bid for Saturday night first (9/22):

Started at $55 and won at $58 on my second bid.

Then on Friday (9/21) there was an offer from PRICELINE for $7 bonus per night per room.

Offered $50 ($57 with bonus) for 9/21 and accepted immediately.

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant:

Pros: helpful staff, great location

Cons: only valet parking is available and that is very expensive (around $45 for overnight)
