AaronJB
Are your date/s confirmed? When bidding on PRICELINE, there's no way to guarantee or increase the odds of a particular property - if you bid at the 4* level, you could get the Renaissance or any other 4* in the zone, or possibly be upgraded to the resort level.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Traveller7
For our Aruba trip we did not bid, we just bought a PRICELINE advertised known hotel and air package together (Marriott Stellaris), very expensive, but we did not want to risk getting the Renaissance. We did not know we should post that since it was not a bid - just a regular advertised known package that PL had. thereuare
Ideally all posts on the board should have a 'conclusion' as it helps keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone, as well as a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with researching your trip.If another user should land upon thread thread while trying to learn more information about their own Nov/Dec trip for this coming year (and doing year-over-year rate research) it would be far better for them to know that you decided to book direct rather than the previous state of this thread where they're left wondering if you bid and were successful but didn't post the win, continued to try but failed up to your maximum limit, canceled the trip, etc. etc. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Thanks for the follow-up. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
