schizo Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 hi all, firstly, i would like to thank members of this forum for being such a wealth of information. i am planning for a trip to LV in Oct and decided to try my luck at priceline - I was aiming for a 5* on the North strip. with a 'back up' of a 5* for the North strip vincity. however, whether or not it was a lack of sleep or carelessness, i ended up winning a bid for 3 nights at the Cosmopolitan for $145. as it was not one of my targets, i did not do much research on the hotel and the reviews when I read it after was quite mixed - as are my feelings now. Now, betterbidding folks, lay it on me honestly. was that a good win? for folks who stayed at the Cosmopolitan before, what are your thoughts on the hotel? Thanks!
AaronJB Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Solid rate for this property, although sorry to hear that the result was not intended. Reviews on Tripadvisor look pretty good; whether or not a good rate depends on the exact dates, as rates vary (often substantially) from day-to-day. Please provide the date/s of travel so that we can update the site's Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins. Thanks.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
whyartwhy Posted October 3, 2012 Report Posted October 3, 2012 Very good deal, seeing how my 3 night stay there in oct. would have cost me over $1,100. Great Hotel, extremely overpriced
