Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Milwaukee (Brookfield - New Berlin) Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield

Looking for a 3.5-to-4 star hotel in downtown Milwaukee; I've bid up to $110/night and haven't even received a counter offer.

I've previously won the Pfister and Hilton City Center for half that amount and I can book the Hilton direct through their site for $143.

Is there something I'm missing? Will availability increase as the week goes on?

Have you bid up to $110 for both 3.5* and 4*? The Hilton was last reported at the 3.5* level. Rates look unusually high for 9/29 - the lowest 4* on HOTWIRE is $210.

Yep, I've tried bidding $110 for 3.5* and I didn't even receive a counter.

I see the Pfister still has rooms available for $239 and the Hilton has rooms for $143; I just wonder if those rooms will ever be allocated to PRICELINE/HOTWIRE.

Had absolutely no luck getting anything downtown this weekend, wasn't even getting hits at the airport or in Wauwatosa.

Saw another member's priceline win at this hotel for $48; tried $45, rejected, rebid at $51 and got it.
