I am looking for a 4* hotel in Monterey for September 28 - September 30. Our maximum budget is $150/night including taxes. Do you think it's possible to win a room with that pricing and so close to the date? Thanks for any insight you can provide!

My initial guess is that this property won't be enough, but you have nothing to lose by trying ;) (and sometimes you can a last minute rate drop). If you let us know your maximum bid amount before taxes and fees we will suggest a strategy for you to follow.

No such luck! Do you mind coming up with a strategy to try today that goes up to 275 before taxes and fees, but we would only book for one night, september 29th.

had to try it in a rush, so used your strategy above and just changed the amounts. I was able to get a room at the Intercontinental Monterey The Clement for $250 before taxes.
