Hotwire Hotel: 4* Chicago (Magnificent Mile - River North) Westin River North

We are looking at staying in Chicago from 11/1 - 11/4.

Here are our options:

4.5* - @$152 - I'm sure this is the Intercontinental (pool/indoor pool combo with other amenities)

4* - @147 - 95% recommended - smoke free, Fitness, Restaurant, Business Center, High-speed Internet

3* - $116 - Fitness Center, Business Center, High Speed, In room access, Roll-in Shower (I don't see any matches in the hotel list thread)

Hotel Felix would be the perfect location with our planned agenda. The 4* fits the bill, but also fits Sheraton and Westin River North, which are inconvenient. The 3* price is intriguing, but I have no clue what that property could be. Some of the 3* hotels are centrally located to our plans.

Please provide the full set of amenities associated with each listing and we would be happy to take a look and try to ID each. In terms of the Felix being a perfect location, what are your plans? I'll note the Westin RN is not a very far walk from where the Felix is; the general Michigan Ave area is pretty walkable.

I tried to list the full amenity set above. No others were listed... However the 4* price has decrease by $24 dollars since earlier this morning, so I'm thinking about taking a shot in the dark. Do they limit amenities when they lower prices to make it more difficult to recognize the hotel?

I looked up Westin... It would be very convenient as well. We are there to eat. resos at Graham Elliott and Topolo. I'd love to be walking distance from each. Hopefully weather will cooperate and be bearable.

Best guess for the 3* is the Inn of Chicago.

For the 4* the amenities are VERY common but my best guess for this one is the The Westin Chicago River North.

You lucked out! This is a really, really nice Westin property (which isn't seen very often as a win) at the South end of the River North area. If you're looking to venture around to restaurants, it's in a great location (but also a pretty nice, central location for downtown in general.) I'll note the rooms (especially on high floors) on the South face of the building offer very nice river views - the river view room that I had facing West on one of the top floors had what I could call a classic Chicago view. PRICELINE/HOTWIRE reservations aren't eligible for upgrades, but if you were interested, you could try asking - worst they could say is no.
