thereuare
What is your maximum bid for this stay? Are you willing to pay more for a 4* vs. a 3.5* OR is the goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this nite? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Maybe up to 75 if I could get a good 4 star, and less for a 3.5. I just would like a nice place that is convenient to the ball game. Thank you very much for your suggestions . Link to comment
riley417
just to let you know, i just this morning tried $92 for a 4 star and it didnt get accepted. good luck! Link to comment
cclaser
Thanks for letting me know. I may need to change my plan. That is out of budget. Does anyone have an idea about what I should bid for a 3.5? Link to comment
thereuare
Do note that rily471's priceline bidding is for 2 nites, 9/28-9/30, whereas your bidding is just for one nite, 9/28, so not a direct apples-to-apples comparison.Using MAPS and HOTELS.com what is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable property? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.EDIT TO ADD: just did some research and the Taste of St. Louis is this weekend and that is likely the reason for the very high rates and low availability Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
riley417
Yep, mine is for 2 nights, but i jsut bid $95/night and got rejected Link to comment
Tino
As I posted in the other topic, I just had a bid accepted for 9/28 at the 4* Hyatt Regency for $85.Good luck! Link to comment
cclaser
I was not successful for 85 on a 4 star. I bid 89 on a 3.5 and got the Sheraton. I'm a little bummed about the property, but it will be fine. Now, I just need to figure out reasonable overnight parking. Thanks for all of the input! Link to comment
