Priceline Hotel: Selected 4* why does it choose both 4*and 5*?

I have used priceline many times so I am fairly familiar with how it works. Today, however, something new happened. I placed a bid for 4* in Las Vegas Strip South and even though it did not accept my offer, it asked that I change one of the items marked and rebid. I wanted to add 5* to try that and it was already grayed out also along with the 4*. Can anyone tell me why it does that? Thanks.
