Priceline Hotel: 10th-13th Oct

HI

I have done plenty research into this but am still not 100% clear. Am I better bidding using bottom price or what ?

I am looking to book a hotel in NYC from 10th to 13th Oct. I am not very fussy about stars hotels but gather that you should book at least 4 star to ensure a good hotel. With regards the area again I am not fussy but guess somewthere in manhattan is the place to stay but past that I wouldnt care.

Can anyone advise what I should be looking at paying for a hotel for these night and advise on bidding
