So my girlfriend and I will be in Barcelona, Spain on Oct 5th to the 7th then heading on a cruise on the NCL Epic on the 7th. I've been looking at hotels but it's been difficult to find a deal.

Originally was looking to find a place North Las Ramblas 4* and up but the prices seem to be $150+. Was looking at $120 total or less, can anyone help?

If it wasn't possible, I am willing to go out a little further. Saw 5* Les Corts - Sants area hotel on Hotwire for $104.54 (total $244 for two nights), was wondering if this might be Hilton Barcelona?

It's not clear from your post, have you mad any bids already? What is your maximum bid price (before taxes and fees)?

I made a few actually. The most recent being $100 USD in both the North and South part of Las Ramblas. I tried $95 USD in Les Corts - Sants last week and got nothing. Both bids were for Oct 5th to Oct 6th 2012. Was hoping to get something then add another night if we like it.

Changed the currency and the Hotwire USD price is $107 and $109 in Barcelona, Spain for Oct 5 to Oct 7th 2012. I think they are both the same? Both 5* in the Les Corts - Sants area hotel. Probably Hilton Barcelona. I am ok with 4* actually if I can get closer to the core of Barcelona.

I'm not currently seeing this 4* Ramblas South property offered when searching HOTWIRE for your dates (i see a 4* priced at $495/nite)... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?
