Priceline Hotel: 3* Los Angeles (Airport LAX) Custom Hotel

Based on a win posted here, I had been trying to duplicate the 2.5* win at the Holiday Inn/LAX. I couldn't get it for these dates at the price previously won.

Trying again last night, I thought I'd try 3*.

There aren't any recent wins for a 3* near LAX, so I was going out on a limb and hoping for Embassy Suites (the last reported win). Started at $61 on a whim, rejected. Added Santa Monica knowing I wouldn't get it, but increased the bid to $66. Won with that.

This newer hotel actually seems pretty cool with a hip vibe and modern look. Online prices were $139/night+... so pretty excited to check out this place. Parking is steep at $20/night, but other reviewers say there's plenty of free parking around the hotel.
