VegasJunkie Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 Did Red Rock out in Summerlin get dropped to a 4-star rating on Hotwire.com? I'm looking at Dec. 1-4 and the 4-star hotel that is popping up has the amenitites for Red Rock, but on here it's listed as 4 1/2-stars.Thanks.
AaronJB Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding.Red Rock was last reported at the 4.5* level - until it is reported as changed in regards to star rating, there is no way to know for sure; the 4* may be another hotel not yet reported to the board with the same/similar amenities.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

Did a little quick checking on other dates and both the 4-star and 4 1/2-star hotels popped up, with nearly identical amenitites. Will be interested to find out what hotel that is. Almost certainly has to be the Sun Coast, since it has a casino and it's the only other major hotel/casino out in that neck of the woods.
MCDForm Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 I booked this 4 star hotel the other day and to my surprise it came out to be the JW Marriott. It tricked me since I could have sworn that Red Rock was a 4 star so I thought that's what I was getting. My dates were Sept 28-29.

VegasJunkie Posted January 2, 2013 Author Report Posted January 2, 2013 I ended up getting invited to a craps tournament that included 3 nights free at Red Rock and didn't end up using any online booking site.
