Priceline Hotel: Advice for 2 week stay

Hello

I was wondering the feasability of trying for a two week stay 20th August to 3rd September. This is for my parents who have stayed at the 2* Days Inn (i think) on the 192 in Kissimmee in the past, and thought it was good enough for a base. Would this be affected by the Labour day weekend?

I would be looking at around $600 total or $40 per night (after taxes this is bit more then $600). They will have transport and would mostly be enjoying Universal (as they have annual passes) with some disney and sea world mixed in.

Can anyone advise where the best place to start would be. Also what charges would they incur from the hotel after the priceline fee (I read somewhere of a daily fee).

cheers

Welcome to BetterBidding!

It doesn't hurt to try anything, but they may have more success and/or find a better deal if they are willing to SPLIT THEIR BID (and this thread will also explain a bit more about extended stays and availability).

As far as additional charges, if the hotel charges a resort fee then that would be payable directly to the hotel upon check-out and not included in the price of their purchase. Other incidentals such as telephone calls, room service, restaurant bills charged to the room, etc, would also be additional.

Best place to start would be to look at both priceline and hotwire and let us know which zones would be acceptable to them.
