Priceline Hotel: Help!!!! Priceline - 5* hotel

Hi I need help in re-bidding or advice on how to score a good deal for a 5* hotel in the South strip or North strip (need casino) and don't want Trump.

I bidded $165 and got declined. How can I re-bid but still stay within my zone area.

Will be staying Sept 24 - Sept 27

I also need 2 rooms. Is it better to bid with 1 room and then re-bid if I win or to bid with 2 rooms the first time around??

Welcome to Betterbidding.

If you bid for 5* Strip South, you could get the Vdara, which doesn't have a casino. The Trump was last reported in the Strip North Vicinity zone, but in general, you have to be willing to accept ANY property within the zones chosen.

Definitely do not bid for one room and then try for another, as there is the possibility you could wind up with two different rooms at two different hotels. If there are two rooms needed, then definitely bid for two rooms.

If you've read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and are still confused try this:

1) Use the PRICELINE search box on the upper right of this page, enter 'Las Vegas, NV' and your dates, and click "GO".

2) List each zone that is offered in this region.

3) Next to each zone list the highest star rating offered in the zone. The way to determine the highest star rating offered in the zone is by selecting the first zone i the list, then scrolling down to see the highest star rating selectable (ie- not greyed out). NEXT UNcheck the selected zone, place a checkmark in the next zone, and repeat the process for each zone in the region. Each time you take note of the highest star rating in the zone, make sure that only ONE zone is selected above.

4) post your findings and we'll take it from there

If you don't follow the above just post back and we'll break it down further.

Is the Vdara acceptable, even though they don't have a casino... the Aria is right next store and should be easy enough to access (imo).
