moxplod Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 I want to book a 5* hotel ideally cosmopolitan. for a stay from 10/12-10/14.How would i go about it? South strip 5* hotels - looks like the options are either hotwire around $200 a night or priceline express deals $180 a night or name your own price?Would name your own price on 5* give me better deals? What price should i bid? Thanks!
AaronJB Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding.PRICELINE bidding would offer a likely lower price, but you have to be willing to accept *any* 5* possibility in the zone or zone/s chosen if you bid 5*. What would be your desired budget per night for this stay, and which zone/s would be acceptable?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

moxplod Posted September 18, 2012 Author Report Posted September 18, 2012 I am ok going upto $180 per night, but would obviously like the best deal. What are the possible 5* hotels that i might get? Is there a comprehensive list - from the priceline list i can tell its Vdara/Aria/Cosmopolitan.Are there any others that i am missing in the south strip zone 5* ??
AaronJB Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 There is a list posted at the top of every state PRICELINE/HOTWIRE forum on Betterbidding that shows what users have reported to the board. There may be others added at any time, or star ratings for hotels that have already been reported may change at any time. You have to be willing to accept any property at the star rating chosen on PRICELINE or pay a bit more and try to make an educated guess as to which hotels are showing on HOTWIRE. Would you be interested in trying for the lowest price (but willing to accept anything at the star rating chosen in the zones chosen) or would you be more interested in paying a little more if HOTWIRE is offering something you may be more interested in?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
