pmsf
I recently rented a car in Hawaii. I checked out lots of different angles to get discounts, and frequently a Hotwire ad showed up on my screen with a too-good-to-be-true deal. It was half the price of the deals I was checking out. It was so good that I actually checked it three times over a course of a week. In each case the taxes and fees were so excessive, that what was advertised as about half price for the daily rate ended up at the end being the same rate as the ones that were double. Watch out for Hotwire taxes and fees! Link to comment
