I don't think you can guarantee this with PRICELINE or HOTWIRE. While most HOTWIRE hotels that show 'kitchenette' (or 'kitchen') will contain a microwave, this isn't guaranteed as it's listed as "stove top or microwave"... so it's possible the hotel only contains the former and not the latter.

If the savings are enough you could buy an inexpensive $40 microwave locally (Target, K-mart, etc) which amortized over the course of your stay would only be an extra $10/nite... as long as you could save more than $10/nite on a room this would still be a viable option, but require a little effort (to visit the store) on your part. If traveling by car you could put the micro in the trunk of your car and have it for the next trip... or if traveling by plane/train where it would be inconvenient to take with you, you can donate it to a local charity/shelter once you're done with it.
