Priceline Hotel: 4 or 5 * this weekend

Hey

I am desperately trying to get two rooms from Saturday till Sunday, this weekend.

I have been bidding since Tuesday (it was on short notice). Used the free rebid zones, started at 100 and went up to 150.

I have had no success. Even though I waited 24hours, PRICELINE still says: We had a request in the last 24 hours.

Does anyone here have any advice on what to do? My limit is $150 per room.

Do you think it will help if I book the rooms separately (risking, that we will be in different Hotels at the strip)?

I would really appreciate some help!

Please provide a follow-up for your Orange County Priceline thread (post what you decided for that stay within that thread, then reply to this thread.)

Please then provide your desired budget per night for this stay and which zones would be acceptable. Please also let us know which zones you have bid on and which star ratings in the zone.

Hey,

we never went to OC that weekend, as we could not get a hotel for an affordable rate.

As I have had no success in Las Vegas (we wanted to stay on the strip) for Saturday night, I now booked two rooms at the Vdara from Sunday till Monday for 102$ each. I am quite pleased with that deal.

I used all the available free rebid zones where no 4* or 5* were available in Vegas.
