newbiefromtx Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 So I am wanting to give Priceline a try as I have heard good things about them. My husband and I are going on a cruise that takes out of Miami, FL however I am told that it is cheaper to fly into Fort Lauderdale. We live in Texas so we will be flying to Fort Lauderdale on Nov. 9th and then leaving Fort Lauderdale on the 18th. Time doesn't matter so we are flexible on that. I am wondering if it is too early to try to bid. I honestly don't want to wait till the last minute because then regular airline tickets will be too high. Is it truly going to save me money? What is my risk? It seems that I can possibly get round trip for one person for about $200 with tax and all. Is that true? Is there a way that I can get it cheaper?? I'm on such a tight budget that I really need to find the cheapest airfare. Thank you so much. This website is fabulous!
