P&T Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Hi,I am looking for twin share accommodation for myself and 18 year old son. Is it possible to ensure twin beds are available using this bidding process? Thanks
AaronJB Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding.PRICELINE only guarantees one bed/double occupancy. Once a booking is made, one can call the hotel to request two beds. It's up to the hotel, and they can say no or charge more. However, NYC is an instance of a city where rooms with two beds often go for a premium and rooms are smaller-than-average. Using PRICELINE in NYC is a high risk of getting one bed.Using HOTWIRE is a better option, although to try to ensure more than one bed (can be 2 beds, 1 + sofa or 1 + rollaway), one really has to indicate more than 2 - such as 2 adults and 1 children, even if there is not a child. What would be your desired budget per night and star rating? Additionally, which zones would be acceptable?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
