Mmonicam Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 Hello All! I am new to this forum, and this is my first post. I have been researching hotels for my upcoming trip to NYC and due to the time of the year, I cannot find any reasonable hotel under $350. Idealy I would like to spend no more than $200 a night for a 4*. This is also my first time to NYC, so I'm a little nervous to bid. Any advice/recommendations are much appreciated! Please find my trip details below...Trip Details:Location: NYCArea Desired: MidTown AreaTrip Dates: Oct 19-23Stars: 4*Adults: 2Children: 0Thank you!
Mmonicam Posted September 12, 2012 Author Report Posted September 12, 2012 Would appreciate any advice on how to bid on my upcoming trip to NYC. I will be going there Oct 19-23 and would love to stay in the Midtown Area. I would like to stay in a 4*, paying about 200$ per night. I know that's probably asking for a lot since its peak season, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Jealous of those who got Waldorf Astoria for cheap!!!! Thanks for all your help in advance:)

thereuare Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 At current rates it may take just a bit more than $200/nite for a 4* hotel for these dates, but we'll start with $200 and if rejected we'll weigh the options from there...At the 4* level in NYC you have SIX re-bid zones.
