manwith Posted September 12, 2012 Author Report Posted September 12, 2012 3*+ in central Manhattan there seem to be a lot of zones in that area, having never been to NY i am open to suggestions. As for budget - as cheap as i can get :)

As for budget - as cheap as i can getWe really need to have some sense of your budget to know what might be possible/realistic for your trip. These dates include the NYC Marathon which historically is one of the busiest single date events in the city and rates will likely be very high. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. manwith Posted September 12, 2012 Author Report Posted September 12, 2012 I guess i was hoping for $100-$120 a night but it sounds like you think this is unrealistic?Joe
mtbscott Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 The NYC Marathon is on November 4, you are coming at one of the most expensive single weekends of the year. Your budget is not realistic for a 3*, probably not enough for 2*.
manwith Posted September 12, 2012 Author Report Posted September 12, 2012 What budget do you suggest?
AaronJB Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 Unfortunately, $100-120 is not going to be realistic for this time period. I'd start at $150, but it may take up towards the $175-200 range for a 3*, given the Marathon during this period. Downtown-Soho may take a bit less - is anywhere in Manhattan acceptable?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
