Priceline Hotel: San Francisco for 3 Nights: 10/12 - 10/15

Looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in San Fran. We will have a car, so free parking would be a plus but not necessary. Location isn't hugely important, but we don't want to be too far out of the way of areas we'll probably be hanging out (Mission, Lower haight, etc) We'll need 2 rooms and would like to spend around $100 a night. Any tips on where to start bidding? Since our stay will compose Friday - Sunday nights, would it be better to split up the bidding?

Are you looking to stay in the general 'downtown' area (USE, USW, Fishermans Wharf, Financial District, Embarcadero, etc) OR are you willing to stay out by the Airport for a lower rate?

At current rates i think $100 or less is going to be a very difficult win for these dates for anything in/around the 'downtown' area. However, if you'd like to give it a try let us know the minimum star rating you're willing to accept and the zones, by PRICELINE name, that you're willing to accept and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow.
