Hotwire Hotel: Quick Question about Amenity sets

I'm starting to look at hotels for DC for the first weekend in November. It seems that lately a lot of the rooms that I've seen on Hotwire are "accessible" rooms -- roll-in shower and the like. Is this new? Does this mean the specific room that is being made available through Hotwire is an accessible room or only that the hotel in question has accessible rooms?

I'll be back with more specific questions later.

Thanks.

The accessible amenities do not mean that the room offered is accessible, but that the hotel offers these amenities.
