Desirees
Just checked Hotwire for hotels in Gatwick and see a three star hotel come up for $68 a night, any idea what it might be? I know the Le Meridien comes up in PL as a four star, could this be the Copthorne? Amenities are restaurant (s), tennis nearby and business center. Thanks,D. Link to comment

blindman
This is just an educated guess (don't blame me if it's wrong :) )I think it's the Holiday InnHoliday InnLocal Information * Golf within 5 MI/ 8.05 KM * Shopping within 3 MI/ 4.83 KM * Tennis within 0.5 MI/ 0.8 KMThe Copthorne and the other likely hotels all have fitness centres and none of them mention a tennis court. If you bid, let us know the outcome :) Link to comment
Desirees
Dates of stay are for one night on the 9th of October. If I bid, it will probably be through Priceline for their Le Meridien for that is where i want to stay since the next day we have a 10am flight and want to be as close to the airport as possible.THanks,D. Blueskies
My experience tells me that 50 pounds sterling is the magic number to land Gatwick Meridien. I have tried several times and this is always the magic number for me. It is worth a bit extra since it is right on site. No cabs, no buses. Link to comment
